Extract audio from video files

When you want to extract the audio portion from a video file (non protected files only), you can use the open source software Audacity for the extract and then audio file clean up process.

1. Download and install Audacity from: https://www.audacityteam.org/

2. Then go to File > Open and select your video file.

3. Once the file is loaded then Export as and Audio file.

4. Close the original video without saving.

5. Now open your newly created audio file and edit the file as you would any other audio file.

6. Slice the tracks and use Noise Reduction and other tools to increase the quality of the output.
